F.G Walton is a second generation family run business, successfully offering its loyal customers and tradesmen alike solutions for plumbing and heating for over 65 years.
In 1950 Mr Walton saw his dream become reality when he proudly began working for himself, introducing his son and heir in 1970. The business is now run by his son, Mr Chris Walton who has spent his whole life providing plumbing solutions for tradesmen and the public.
The building on Outram Street, Sutton-in-Ashfield was built at the request of Mr G Walton in 1962 and is still the home of F.G.Walton Plumbers Merchants. Situated over two floors and incorporating bathroom, kitchen, tile and fire showrooms, the magnitude of which is not fully appreciated until you’re inside.

Constant focus on how to decrease our energy consumption whilst energy costs continue to steadily rise, is having a huge impact on the way we approach new home heating systems.
Here at F.G. Walton we recommend having an annual boiler check by a qualified service engineer to ensure that your boiler is running efficiently, however in the event that your home boiler is out dated or damaged beyond repair, we supply an extensive range of component parts, new boilers and complete central heating systems. Our team of plumbers and fitters are on hand to ensure that you are soon sitting cosy with your new central heating system in place.
In addition to your central heating system, we sell a wide range of electric and gas fires. You can select your new fire, complimenting surround and even accessories all in the comfort of our dedicated fire showroom.
